AMRA® Profiler Research enables regional and complete segmentation
and quantification of muscle and fat tissue volumes in the body.
- Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT)
AMRA also measures Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT) within the abdominal cavity, excluding adipose tissue outside the abdominal skeletal muscles and adipose tissue and lipids within the cavity, posterior of the spine and back muscles.
- Abdominal Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue (ASAT)
AMRA closely monitors standard body fat measurements, such as Abdominal Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue (ASAT).
- Lean Thigh Muscle Volume
AMRA measures posterior and anterior muscles for the left and right thigh. Posterior thigh muscles include gluteus, iliac, adductor, and hamstring muscles on respective sides. Anterior thigh muscles include quadriceps femurs and sartorius.
- Proton-Density Liver Fat Fraction
AMRA uses Proton-Density Fat Fraction (PDFF) to provide a non-invasive, precise measurement of liver fat content.
- Intramuscular Adipose Tissue (IMAT)
AMRA accurately quantifies intramuscular fat fraction through measurements taken from the anterior thigh muscles.
- Total Adipose Tissue Volume (TAT) and Total Lean Tissue Volume (TLT)
AMRA precisely measures Total Adipose Tissue Volume (TAT) and Total Lean Tissue Volume (TLT) within the entire body or a pre-defined region.
- Muscle Group Volumes and Individual Muscle Volumes
AMRA is able to precisely quantify groups or individual muscle volumes in the body.
